Stephen Wagner: New Faculty Senate President

Dr. Stephen Wagner is Governors State University's (GovState) new Faculty Senate President. Dr. Wagner is the 19th Faculty Senate President, succeeding Dr. Li-Wei Peng.

Wagner is Professor of Management in Governors State's College of Business whose responsibilities will include chairing all meetings and its Executive Committee, as well as attending Board of Trustees meetings and reporting to the Board of Trustees and the Academic Council. He also will serve as Grand Marshal in academic processions.

Dr. Wagner's term officially began in August 2023. Congratulations, Dr. Wagner!
