Chicago Southland International Film Festival (CSIFF) announces expanded programming, competitive pricing, and new partnerships for this fall’s festival, which begins Oct. 13.

In addition to short films, the rescreening of feature film “Mustang Saviors,” and the anticipated new episode of the “Shame of Chicago” documentary series “The Chicago Plan,” CSIFF has partnered with Shortcut 100 International Film Festival in Chicago to program another exciting group short films from Chicago and beyond.  Shortcut 100 is an annual showcase dedicated to promoting  independent short films from emerging filmmakers.

Featured Showcase: Best of Shortcut 100 taking place on Thursday, October 13 at 8:30 p.m. will include award winning short films from past Shortcut 100 festival programs spanning the genres of comedy, drama, action, and animation.

Additionally, CSIFF has revamped it’s pricing structure since last festival, offering more affordable tickets and passes and a multitude of discount codes. Students can now attend film programs for only $5 each, or purchase a Full Festival Pass for only $25 with a discount code. GSU staff, faculty, and alumni, and military veterans also can receive a discount on tickets and passes.

Guests can contact the CSIFF Audience Liaison Suzanne Patterson at spatterson3@govst.edu for more information.
