Sculpture, Wine, and Dine Featured on NBC

Governors State University President Elaine Maimon recently discussed the university's 50th anniversary celebrations, including signature fundraiser Sculpture, Wine, and Dine, with NBC 5's Alex Maragos.

Sculpture, Wine, and Dine supports the Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park. Heralded as one of the top ten sculpture parks in the world, this “museum-in-the-prairie” remains a free public resource for the community 365 days a year.

The unique farm-to-table experience will be accompanied by a meet and greet with artists, guided tours by golf cart; Self-guided walking tours, as well as screenings of "Searching for Lady Day: A Portrait in Steel" a 30-minute documentary about artist Mark di Suvero.

"Please support the idea that art is important to all students,'' Dr. Maimon said.
