Why you can't miss this:
- Witness Innovation in Action: "Every year at the conference I am profoundly impressed by the posters and presentations from our students and faculty," said Lily Morgan, Public Services Librarian, and event organizer. "The topics are fascinating, and I always learn something or gain new perspectives on topics I thought I was familiar with. It is truly wonderful and humbling to see our students doing this work, and I'm glad we have the opportunity to recognize them for their accomplishments and share their research with the greater GovState community."
- Gain Professional Edge: “Students, boost your skills by presenting your research work and in so doing, inspire your peers and gain self-confidence!” said Dr. Olu Ijose, Associate Provost and Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and chair of organizing committee.
- Ignite Your Passion: Discover what academic research truly looks like and be inspired to make a difference. "A lot of students may not think of themselves as researchers, but if you have a topic or social issue you care about, research can be a powerful tool for change," Morgan emphasized. "If you need help with your research or aren't sure how to get started, reach out to the library- our librarians can assist with any part of the research process."
