“Your generosity empowers me to focus more on my studies and less on financial constraints, allowing me to dedicate myself fully to achieving my educational goals.” -Limahl, American Logistics Association Scholarship Winner
Limahl’s story is just one example of how your donations change lives and impact the future.
This year, your donations mean even more. In times of uncertainty, some students are making decisions about whether they can afford a college education. We want to make it easier for them to say “YES!” to the accessible and exceptional education they can receive at GovState. We know a college education opens doors to job opportunities and higher earning potential, develops important skills that can be used in the workplace and the community, and improves life satisfaction (Forbes). But to quote LeVar Burton from Reading Rainbow, you don’t have to take my word for it.
“Receiving this scholarship has had a profound impact on my academic journey and allowed me to achieve several important milestones.” –Sohaiba, Ronald Bean Scholarship Winner

I want to assure you that I am committed to making the most of this opportunity and using my education to make a positive impact in my community and beyond. Your belief in my potential has fueled my determination to excel academically and pursue my goals with passion and dedication.” -Abdul, Elizabeth Cada Scholarship Winner

“I am humbled and grateful to be able to receive this recognition. I take my education very seriously, and this will help me finish my program strong with less of a financial burden on my shoulders.” -Ray, Crawford Business Scholarship Winner
“It is through the generosity of donors like yourself that students like me can pursue their dreams and make a meaningful difference in the world.” -Tarick, Angie Sebastain ‘Finish What you Started’ Scholarship Winner
