President Maimon to hold Three Chat Events this week

President Elaine P. Maimon will be meeting with groups of students and faculty and staff this week to talk about the state of the university, the state’s budget uncertainty, and any other topics attendees wish to bring up.

All faculty and staff are invited to have hot chocolate with Dr. Maimon on Tuesday, November 17, at 10 a.m., in Engbretson Hall. RSVP’s are not required but would be appreciated. RSVP to pperdue@govst.edu or x4130.

Students have two opportunities to meet with the President. On Wednesday, November 18, at 6 p.m. in E Lounge and on Thursday, November 19, at 6 p.m. in the great room of Prairie Place. No RSVPs are required.

“We realize that people have concerns and questions about the budget and we want to encourage an open dialogue. These three meetings will allow us to have a real conversation. I welcome questions and suggestions and am looking forward to hearing what you have to say,” said President Maimon.
