New Division Chairs in College of Business

Recently, Governors State University's (GovState) College of Business (COB) announced that Drs. Alice Keane and Stephen Wagner have assumed new roles as Division Chairs.

Dr. Alice Keane is serving as the Chair of the Accounting, Finance, MIS and Economics Division. Her comprehensive academic background, extensive professional experience, prolific scholarly contributions, dedicated service and unwavering commitment to the advancement of GovState's mission promise a future of successful leadership within the COB.

Dr. Keane holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law and a Master of Laws (LL.M Taxation) with distinction from Georgetown University Law Center. Her rigorous legal education equips her with a strong foundation for teaching and research in accounting, business law, and related fields.

Dr. Stephen Wagner is serving in the role of Chair of the Management, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship (MME) Division. Dr. Wagner has been a dedicated member of the GovState community since 2011. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Northern Illinois University and has a career spanning both academic and professional environments, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Dedicating himself to GovState's mission, Dr. Wagner has been involved in various University committees, including serving as President of the GovState Faculty Senate and chairing the Digital Learning Master Planning Task Force.
