NASPAA Approves Governors State's MPA

The Governors State University Master of Public Administration was recently approved for accreditation renewal by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA).

The seven-year accreditation signifies the program has undertaken a rigorous process of peer review and demonstrates a commitment to continuous program assessment and improvement.

Susan Gaffney, MPA Program Coordinator and NASPAA liaison who chaired the accreditation process, said the accreditation renewal is well timed as the university celebrates its 50-year anniversary.

“NASPAA is the global accrediting body of master’s degree programs in the field of public administration and public service. The accreditation supports Governors State’s 50-year commitment to educating leaders through our program, curriculum, and outstanding faculty.”
