Meet the 2024 Commencement singer

Governors State University (GovState) Psychology graduate Krystal Carter has been chosen to sing at the 2024 afternoon Commencement ceremony. 

With her bachelor's degree, Krystal aspires to work in a private practice with children, particularly teens, and family therapy. Krystal completed an internship as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist, an opportunity she gained while she was a student at GovState. Currently, she works as a Care Coordinator with Southland Care Coordination Partners.
