Jaguars and community members can look forward to spending the longest day of the year at Governors State University’s (GovState) Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park (theNate) for a Juneteenth Summer Solstice Celebration.
On Thursday, June 20, the tradition of music amongst the sculptures continues. From 5 to 8 p.m., guests can mix and mingle, grab a bite to eat from food trucks, and stroll around the lake while listening to live music at many stops along the way.
The music festival will feature the Illinois Philharmonic Orchestra ensembles on the GovState campus and theNate sculpture park.
