Governors State University (GovState) Jaguar athletes are celebrating a successful fall semester with 56% of student-athletes earning a 3.0 GPA or higher.

“We would like to congratulate our student-athletes on a job well done academically for the Fall 2023 term!” said Chandra Thompson, GovState Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance and Student Success. “Hard work and determination goes a long way, and I personally would like to say thank you for helping build this athletic department into an academic powerhouse.”

GovState student-athletes' efforts in the classroom show that they shine both on and off the court and field. Keep it up, Jaguars!
