Humans of GSU: Julia Reyes

"I want to represent GSU not only on the volleyball court, but in the classroom as well, so maintaining a 4.0 GPA is important to me. I believe that balancing my athletic obligations and school work instills responsibility in me that can only be taught by being a student athlete. With my busy schedule, there is no time to procrastinate; therefore I must complete my assignments on time, if not early to stay ahead. It influences me to be a better student.

I feel supported by GSU. The student athletes have study hours each week to make sure we're finishing our work and the professors are understanding of the how demanding our schedules are, like when we're out of town for game days. GSU even supports its student athletes by having pep rallies for us and encouraging students to attend our games."
