GSU Athletics Honors the Class of 2020

Governors State University is holding a virtual celebration (#GovStateGrad) for 2020 graduates in lieu of the May 16 commencement exercises that were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

GSU Athletics would like to recognize 10 present and past student-athletes who completed their degrees during the 2019-20 school year:

"This has been a challenging semester for our students with the adjustments they have had to make in their lives. I applaud them for their focus and work ethic," said GSU Director of Athletics Tony Bates. "It's a championship feeling when our players go on to graduate."

A total of 57 student-athletes have graduated from GSU since varsity athletics began in 2015-16.
