GovState’s monthly newsletter, the Agora, will become the Triad
In celebration of the University’s 55th anniversary, the Agora, Governors State University’s (GovState) monthly newsletter, will be renamed the Triad, sharing the namesake of the University’s logo.
Effective January 2025, the Triad will premier with new bold features designed to drive engagement. Despite the rebranding, the newsletter will remain an institution-wide source for campus news from academic achievements to service in action.
Will Davis, Vice President of External Affairs, said the Triad reflects the vision of its founders.
“The Triad is shaped like a rocket to symbolize the timing of our founding in 1969, the same year of NASA's Apollo 11 moon landing. Its three pillars represent our north star: teaching, research and service. That’s who the founders envisioned us to be, and we have remained true as an institution,” said Davis.
