GovState celebrates 55 Years of Excellence and Innovation

Governors State University (GovState) turns 55 this year on July 17! Jaguars and their friends and family are invited to join GovState and the Village of Park Forest in celebrating 55 years of excellence and innovation in the Southland.

On Wednesday, July 17 from 6 – 9 p.m., GovState will co-host a free event featuring an outdoor concert and family-friendly attractions to mark this double nickel milestone for the University.

Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy live entertainment from the Village Green. Seating is first come, first serve. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

The event will be held in Downtown Park Forest at Village Green, Main Street & Cunningham Drive, Park Forest, IL 60466.
