Governors State University Deans share gratitude
As the holiday season approaches, the Deans of Governors State University (GovState) have taken some time to reflect on some of the things they're grateful for here on campus.

“I am grateful to have had the privilege of working in higher education for the last 25 years. I enjoy the impact I can have on students, programs, and initiatives and I enjoy the impact that these people and things have on me. I am constantly learning from those around me. It makes me sad to see some of the recent restrictions put on freedom of thought, expression, and discussion in higher education, but I am definitely grateful to work at a university and work in a state that embraces diversity and freedom of expression.”
