STEAM camp 2023

Looking for a summer camp where your student can have fun with science, technology, and art? Governors State University’s STEAM Camp 2023 may have something for you! Middle- and high school students will have a chance to get hands-on science, technology, art, engineering, and mathematics experience this summer in University Park.

The camp, offered by GSU since 2014, engages students ages 11 to 16 in experiments, field activities, project-based learning, field trips and more to encourage them to pursue STEAM careers.

Your student will have the opportunity to learn about Optical Illusions, Mobile App Design, Robotics, AI, Drones, Weather Science, and so much more (full schedule to be announced).

“STEAM Camp challenges campers to become tomorrow’s innovators through a series of hands-on fun and educational activities,” said STEAM Camp Director Luke Helm.

Camp dates are as follows:

SESSION ONE: Monday, July 10 to Friday, July 14,  9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
SESSION TWO: Monday, July 17 to Friday, July 21,  9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
SESSION THREE: Monday, July 24 to Friday, July 28, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
