During a recent Chicago Latino Network webinar, "Decoding the Language of the Unheard," Governors State University Senior Lecturer Phyllis West discusses the systemic factors that allowed for the death of an African American man at the hands of Minneapolis police. She offered additional resources to help participants learn more about institutional racism, and to engage in solutions.
