Dear Occupational Therapy Graduates

I have no doubt you will prevail with the same desire and passion to serve the people who need you the most and you will make a difference in their lives!
Dr. Caren Schranz, Chair, Department of Occupational Therapy

Dear OT Graduate,

I want to congratulate each and everyone of you on the significant accomplishment of graduating from the MOT Program. Your MOT Pinning Ceremony, in December 2019, was a wonderful celebration with your family and friends and I am glad we were able to share in that joy with you!

As you entered your profession and began your job search, you were quickly thrown into a time of uncertainty. I have no doubt you will prevail with the same desire and passion to serve the people who need you the most and you will make a difference in their lives!

Though the traditional celebrations to commemorate your success have had to be postponed, please know your day will come when we can gather with friends and family, as well as the faculty and staff of GSU, to applaud you and your hard work. It has been an honor to see you work toward your degree and now join the elite ranks of Governors State University alumni, our pride.

I look forward to watching your dreams come true in the months and years ahead and hope for good health to you and your family.

Best Wishes,

Dr. Caren Schranz
