The College of Business (COB) is proud to announce the extension of its esteemed Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation, an achievement earned by less than 5% of business schools around the world.

Dr. Jun Zhao, Dean of the College of Business, called earning the AACSB accreditation “a remarkable achievement, a reflection of the academic excellence and our commitment to continuous improvement.”

"As an AACSB accredited business school, the COB at GSU strives to continuously improve its programs and curriculum, and providing the knowledge, skills, and competencies our students need to succeed in the ever-changing global market. I thank our faculty, staff and students for their dedications to our mission, and their contributions to this wonderful achievement”, Zhao said.

Founded in 1916, AACSB is the longest-serving global accrediting body for business schools, and the largest business education network advancing students, educators, and business worldwide.  AACSB accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in business education worldwide.

Today, a total of 954 institutions across 59 countries and territories have earned AACSB accreditation in business. Also, 193 institutions maintain supplemental AACSB accreditation for their accounting programs. COB has held accreditation since 2016.
