Chronicle of Higher Ed Highlights GSU's Approach to Internships

GSU’s innovative approach to internships was recently cited in "The Chronicle of Higher Education."

Parker Dewey offers students and recent graduates short-term, but valuable work experience with projects such as content creation or organizing data that will take from five to 40 hours to complete. These micro internships allow workers to hone their skills while saving companies money.

In the GSU Career Center, staff members help students optimize their chances of winning assignments.

President Elaine P. Maimon said the program works well for GSU students, about half of whom are 25 years old and older with full lives.
