Dr. Novia Pagone is an Associate Professor in the College of Arts and Sciences at Governors State University. She teaches in the Spanish program primarily, along with Latin American, Caribbean, and Latina Studies program, as well as the Global Studies minor in the Division of Arts and Letters.

Dr. Pagone holds a Ph.D. in Hispanic Studies with a focus on the journalism, literature, and film of contemporary Spain.
