IBHE Features Book Review of "Leading Academic Change"

In a review of Governors State University President Elaine P. Maimon's "Leading Academic Change: Vision, Strategy, Transformation," National Louis University President Nivine Megahed, calls the book a "thought-provoking, worthwhile guide for leaders."

The June 29 issue of IBHE posted Megahed's review in which she wrote," Dr. Maimon encourages institutions to think about how to implement proven high leverage practices that improve student success. For example, focusing on students’ strengths, having students learn by doing and refraining from making students feel stupid are reasonable and proven approaches to help these students improve their learning in a subject.
