Dear Psychology and Counseling Graduates

You will certainly have stories to share about how you overcame obstacles on your way to earning your degree. You are part of history!
Dr. Patricia Robey, Division Chair of Psychology and Counseling

Dear Psychology and Counseling Graduates,

On behalf of all the faculty and staff in the Division of Psychology and Counseling, I want to congratulate you on your graduation! It has been a privilege for us to be part of your learning journey. We know you have worked hard to this point and we are sure that you will be leaving us to go on to exciting new adventures. Congratulations too, to your family and friends and all the people who have supported you in this process. We never walk our journey alone.

We know you are disappointed that commencement ceremonies will be delayed because of COVID 19, but you will certainly have stories to share about how you overcame obstacles on your way to earning your degree. You are part of history! We hope you will attend the commencement when it is rescheduled. It is always meaningful and you might even notice some of us (OK, that will be me, for sure) shedding a tear or two of pride as you walk across the stage.

You may be graduating, but be assured that you will always be a part of us at GSU. Please join the Alumni Association, but please also take time to stop by our offices to say hello or email us to let us know how you are doing. You are part of our past, our present, and our future.

Sincerely,

Dr. Patricia Robey

Division Chair of Psychology and Counseling
