The Thought Leader’s Viewpoint Invites You to Listen and Learn

The Thought Leader’s Viewpoint, a podcast of the Governors State University School of Extended Learning, is a platform for leaders from business, industry, and academia to share their expertise.

Launched in February 2017, the podcast is a spin-off from The Thought Leader’s Workshop Series which aimed at helping professionals learn how to use social media to position themselves in their field. Led by GSU’s External Programs Manager Dr. Felicia L. Townsend, the monthly podcast invites experts to discuss an array of topics.

“The sharing and application of information is at the heart of The Thought Leader’s Viewpoint,” said Dr. Townsend. “After listening to a podcast, listeners should be able to take away at least one new idea they can use in their work and share with their colleagues.”

May’s expert is GSU Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Deborah Bordelon. She focuses on the impact faculty development has on student success.
