Emergency Preparedness on Campus for Faculty and Staff
As another academic year begins, the energy and excitement on campus is palpable.
We also know that everyone is working from a lengthy “to-do” list, whether it is welcoming our SmartStart students, finalizing course syllabi, or settling in at Prairie Place. We want to take a moment to ensure that safety and emergency preparedness is part of your “to-do” list.
To help ensure that campus safety remains at the forefront, whether you are a faculty or staff member, the Emergency Response Team would like to share with you a preparedness check-list for your review:

For your reference, the website includes resources such as the GSU Safety Booklet.
As you may know, the Emergency Response Team (ERT) is comprised of a cross-functional team of dedicated professionals. Over the coming weeks you will be hearing more about the work being done by ERT to ensure that GSU remains a safe campus for everyone to learn, live, and work. In the meantime we wish everyone a successful (and safe) start to the new academic year.
